twinkle, twinkle.

it should come as no surprise to you that i enjoy being a girl. like, really. i love it. i adore being feminine and all things that make a woman a woman. (conversely, i love all things that make a man a man.)

i also believe that, as women, we can never have enough girlfriends and feel so thankful in my heart for the ones god has placed in my life. among them, my dear old friend caroline kaspar. i have known caroline all of my life as our parents are good friends. i remember well laughing daily with her and laura in the back of geometry class as…well, let’s just say none of us were math-whizzes; drinking wine at bible study with her (hey, jesus did it); throwing her 29th birthday party with our friend rebecca; passing out her wedding programs; and even going to see kellie peeckler with her at the state fair . as adults, we have only grown closer and i count her one of my nearest and dearest friends. (she is also one of the blondes of ‘two blondes & a brunette’ who co-host the facebook forum with me during bachelor season.)

as much as i love pedicures and pretty dresses, i don’t think anyone who knows me would call me prissy necessarily, but caroline? the epitome of all things girl. a spitfire all of 76 pounds, she is by far the cutest, funnest girl i know. and she is always -ALWAYS- the best-dressed and most well-accessorized. (she comes by it honestly; everyone in her family is darling.)

and so i can’t even stand it that i get to introduce caroline and her sassy friend tonya to you today by way of their online boutique, twinkle. twinkle is definitely my go-to shoppe when i need just the right earrings or fun necklace to add sparkle or shine to my wardrobe. the reason it’s my first stop, other than it being so convenient & simple, is that their prices are so affordable! also? since it’s just the two of them running the show, you don’t have to wait 6 weeks for delivery. the turn-around is almost immediate! (by the way, caroline and i both happen to be wearing twinkle earrings in this picture taken at our second annual elmo’s christmas brunch two years ago.)
